Southern England - Lynmouth

From part way up the cliffside railway you get a good view of the Lyn River mouth. It tumbles over the boulder beach at low tide. Can you see the tall poles either side of the river, mid left of photo? At high tide they are almost to the top and are put there for the boats to see the channel. The tide goes up 10.2m!!!! The second highest change of levels in the world just behind the Bay of Fundy. Most beaches in this part of UK are rocks, pebbles or shingles but these seem to fall more into the boulder category!
